I get it. I’ve been there, too.

When I was laid off in 2020, I felt stuck, uncertain, and overwhelmed as I tried to figure out my next steps.

But then I had a realization: I was IN a story right now, and I could choose what kind of story I wanted it to be. Did I want it to be one of endless self-doubt, or one of empowerment and intentional growth?

After 15+ years of telling other people’s stories for companies like Airbnb, the Obama campaign, and even a Bravo dating show (ask me about that wild summer!), I reflected on my own stories for the first time. It helped me uncover my true passions, define my core values, and get clear on what I wanted more —and less—of in my next chapter.

Now, I create Story Coaching spaces to guide clients through that same transformation.

Story Coaching combines my expertise in human-centered storytelling, over 100 hours of Co-Active Coach Training (known as the "Harvard of coaching"), and an enthusiastic, supportive approach to help clients become empowered authors of their own life stories.

  • Great question! Here’s the breakdown:

    • Therapy is a protected, confidential relationship with a licensed professional that focuses on processing past experiences, healing trauma, and addressing mental health challenges to support emotional well-being.

    • Consulting is about providing expert advice and solutions, where the consultant identifies what needs to be done and often delivers the strategy or action plan for you to execute.

    • Coaching focuses on the future, helping you create actionable steps to achieve your goals. We’ll reflect on your past to uncover meaningful stories, but coaching is all about empowering you to move forward.

    Think of it this way: A therapist helps you understand how your bike got broken, a consultant fixes it for you, and a coach walks alongside you as you learn to repair it yourself.

  • I’ve found that 90-minute to two-hour sessions allow us the time to truly drop in and explore your stories deeply. We start with a grounding meditation—what my clients lovingly call “the Commute” into Story Coaching—and then dive into reflection, creativity, and breakthroughs.

    Shorter sessions often end just as we’re hitting our stride, so these longer sessions ensure we have the space to uncover and develop your most meaningful insights. This is also why my fees may be a bit higher than some shorter-format coaching options—it’s all about giving your story the time it deserves.

    My Story Coaching containers start at $997 and go up from there. Saying “yes!” to a Story Coaching container is an investment of time, soul, and money—but it’s an investment in you and the transformation you’re ready to spark in your life.

    I offer payment plans, as well as few pay-what-you-can containers each year for clients I really want to work with. Payments can be made via credit card, ACH, or PayPal.

  • I use Fireflies.ai during our Zoom sessions to record and create a searchable transcript of our time together. 

    I’ve found it to be a fantastic tool for capturing key moments and allowing you to revisit our sessions later. It’s like having a personal podcast of your session, where you can reflect on insights or catch those sparks of inspiration that come from hearing your story in a new way.

    The AI even has a built-in ChatGPT feature that can summarize our conversations or create first drafts of the stories we’ve worked on. 

    However, if you do not want me to use the AI notetaker I will happily boot it out of our meeting. Please let me know in advance if that is the case.

  • Yes! I offer a group coaching program called Shape Your Career with Storytelling, where we dive into shared storytelling transformations as a cohort. You can join the waitlist to learn more about the next launch.

  • My qualifications start with my own transformational coaching journey.

    In the summer of 2022, I found myself at one of the lowest points of my entrepreneurial journey. My beloved cat, Indy, was seriously ill, a major Strategic Storytelling consulting client was misaligned and draining, and I felt completely stuck. 

    Then I met my coach, Natasha Cecere, who became a transformational force in my life. Over the last two years of deep coaching, Natasha helped me regain clarity on what I really want, tap into the true core of my being, build an exciting path to the future.

    Inspired by this profound personal growth, I embraced my calling to become a coach myself. It’s a natural extension of my love for helping others uncover and shape their stories. Natasha became my incredible mentor, showing me the ins and outs of building a coaching business based in integrity and a service.

    Since then, I’ve sat with almost 100 incredible Story Coaching clients, ranging from executive directors to professors, roboticists, architects, founders, and entrepreneurs—people navigating big transitions and creating meaningful change in their lives and careers. It has been an absolute joy to help them uncover and shape their stories, empowering them to create the impact they desire in the world.

    To build on this experience, I completed over 104 hours of training with the Co-Active Training Institute—often called the "Harvard of coaching" and accredited by the International Coaching Federation. This rigorous, experiential training deepened my coaching practice and gave me even greater tools to support my clients. I’m now working toward earning my ICF coaching credential, expected in mid-2025, and continuing to evolve as a coach and storyteller.
