You’re Invited to a Special
Year-In-Review Storytelling Workshop
for the FoST community

It’s wild to think that the end of the year is right around the corner. If you’re anything like me, as you race to finish up work before the holidays, it can be hard to crave time to reflect back on your year and set personal and professional intentions for the year to come.

That’s why I’m inviting the FoST Explorers Club community to a special year-in-review storytelling workshop called “What’s Your 2023 Story?”

Tuesday, December 19th • 12:00-2:00 PM/PT (3:00-5:00 PM/ET) • On Zoom

In this 2-hour virtual storytelling workshop, you’ll use storytelling to explore your experiences from 2023, and proactively plot the story you want to live in 2024.

From remembering all the incredible highlights from our FoST adventures, to thinking about how to apply those learnings to your creative practice, this will be a rich time to actively shape your next steps.

Through fun games, individual journalling, and small group conversations, you’ll,

  • 🔎 Identify meaningful moments from your year including the highs and lows in your career, relationships, and health

  • 📖 Learn powerful storytelling frameworks to pull out the deeper lessons from your experiences and shape them into engaging stories

  • 🗣 Share your stories in small, supportive groups where you will find many common connections

  • 🔮 Time travel into the future to imagine the best possible version of your life for 2024

  • 💖 Proactively set intentions and goals so you can create the story you want to live in 2024

⬆️ RSVP using the form above ⬆️

Even if you can’t make it live, anyone who signs up will get the What’s Your 2023 Story workbook and workshop recording.

While there is no charge to attend, I kindly ask that you consider making a donation to BAYCAT, a nonprofit near and dear to my heart that trains the next generation of BIPOC / LGBTQ+ / Non-Bianary and Female storytellers for careers in the media arts.
